Do you like apples?

I like apples. And I like oranges more.

Before eating the apples, what do you do? Do you take a bite or cut the apple first and eat?

You can eat apples in different ways. There is not a single way that you have to follow this rule and no matter what you have to do it. When we talk about self defense, we can handle the situation in different ways.

What you taught in self defense class, that might not be applicable in some situations or you just do not want to do it. Why? Let's watch this video and talk about it in context. This is not my video, and all video credit goes to Nick Drossos.

In a self defense class, you might learn how to disarm a gun. Well, there were no obstacles when you practice. When you are at the counter, you cannot grab the gun and get close to the attacker if he pulls his hand or you cannot move to the side of the attacker.

You can move the side and get out of the line of fire, grab the gun, attack and disarm the gun. But the thing is, other people or customers can be there, and while you are doing this, someone might get shot. You do not want to let that happen.

It is clear that the robber wants the money. You can give it to him. You may have instructors from the authority where you work that if you face a situation like this, give cash or what they want.

There are CC cameras. The authority can take help from the law enforcement agency and deal with it even if the robber takes the money and runs from there.

What would you do in this situation? Please feel free to express your thoughts below. Thank you so much for reading this post.
