The Mind's Eye : The Diversity In Soccer.

I know so much about soccer, I've said much in my two recent post Sport Memories : Injury, Wound, Beating, Still No Trophy.. ... Sport Memories (2) : A Vist To Ondo State Sport Centre, Akure. and I'll say it again here.

There is nothing that easily binds people together in this side of the world if not for soccer. Be it Muslim, Christian or a traditional person. Soccer binds all.

I just want to site instances where soccer was used to end a lot of bad thing, maybe marking an anniversary, ending a community clash, celebrations, to mark the great passing away of a great man and many more.

Brings Joy.

Some years back, when I was serving as a Youth Corps member in Anambra state in the Eastern part of the country. I witness the first time where a football match was organize to mark the passing away of a colleague. A very young boy who is still in the university. It kind of makes the whole community happy and made them forget that a young boy just died.

Keeps Youth Engage.

Soccer has been used to mop up or end youth unemployment and idleness. I've witnessed a lot of it in past time and still it's a very good tool to get youths engaged till they get a very good job. It also help to make them active.

Bring The Best In You

Soccer has been a platfrom to showcase greatness, many players have been developed from my state who are playing for big teams both inside and outside this country.

Fun-filled Soccer Days.

Lastly, I've never seen anything that brings so much fun and creativity to my childhood days like soccer. I just can't take my eyes off the great things soccer has done for me. It got me engaged during those days when my mates takes pleasures in smoking Marijuana. A lot of them can't be see today.
