Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report: 1st Place!

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.

Overall Guild Rank: First Place

We're back on the podium and this time even took first place! We finished below par last week at fourth place but we came back with a vengeance this week and took first. We had 98 wins, a narrow lead over second placer Lux Aeterna who had 96 wins.

Top Brawl Participants

My score was good but not that great. I joined eighth to thirteenth place in our guild's top brawlers with a 6-2 score. Overall, our guild did well to take the pole position in this tournament.

Selected Games

Here I present two of the games that I won.

Game 1

The first game saw a Water vs Water game. We almost had the same team as the opponent. I thought my opponent had the advantage because he had a legendary magic gladiator while I had common gladiator card. In this game, my gladiator killed the opponent's and that decided the game in my favor.

Game 2

Game 2 had a Thorns modifier. Because of this, I only had one melee unit in the team. My opponent ignored the game modifier and still had three melee units in the game. You see, Thorns returns melee attacks so it's prudent not to use melee cards in when the game has this modifier. This caused my opponent to lose the game.

Spending the Rewards

I bought two packs again but my streak of bad luck returned. The last good card I got from gladiator packs was the legendary Death card but now I'm back to getting commons and rare cards again.

Conclusion

We earned 4,444 merits and 35 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.

If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
