It's nearly time for some Titans Football baby!!

Today is the last day of August and despite a lot of my personal life getting pretty much wrecked, a wonderful silver lining is that football is right around the corner! Watching my Titans play is always a fun time. I love the Titans more than any other team I am a fan of.

A good old contact sport. The best contact sport in my opinion. I have defended American football enough in many posts and perhaps one day I will again defend it, but right now I don't feel like it. Football is amazing. If you don't like the hitting and the head injuries, simply don't watch then.

After such a fun memorable season last year, how will the Titans bounce back? They were in the NFL's final four last year. Will teams respect that? Honestly I still feel like the Titans are slept on despite their great success last year.

Casuals still see Ryan Tannehill as if he sucks which he very much doesn't. Casuals still see 9-7 four straight seasons which doesn't always intimidate folks. Casuals still probably think Derrick Henry is too slow or not very versatile and modern.

You know what I see in the 2020 Titans? I see a very well balanced team with just about zero weaknesses. Honestly and embarrassingly, I believe the Titans main weakness could literally be the kicker. The Titans absolutely could not find consistency in the kicking game in 2019 and it definitely cost the team a game or a few games if I remember right.

I think the Titans finally have a quarterback who can truly make all the throws on the field with good strength and accuracy. The Titans have a massive and powerful running back the NFL hasn't seen since Jamal Lewis or Jerome Bettis. Except Derrick Henry is also much faster than both of those legends. The Titans have got a really deep receiving core. A.J. Brown, Corey Davis, speedster Kalif Raymond, tight end Jonnu Smith have all proven to be more than capable NFL pass catchers. Not to mention a lot of unknown youth. The Titans drafted a hopefully better RB2 than Dion Lewis in Darrynton Evans. The lack of production in the RB2 spot was at times problematic for the Titans offense.

The Titans have an very good offensive line and a quickly improving defensive line. I am massively excited to see what DT Big Jeffery Simmons can do in his sophomore NFL season. That guy can totally put himself on the map in 2020.

The Titans defense as a whole has improved and got healthy. The Titans added good talent in free agency and the draft when it comes to the secondary. The Titans linebackers are speedy smart and aggressive.

Considering how well the team battled through roster changes and overall adversity in 2019, I think the team bonded well and learned a lot together. With everyone healthy and with really good coaching like the Titans seem to have, I am really excited for this upcoming season.

I feel like this whole team is oozing confidence and I believe the Titans have the right coaching, organization and environment to keep the team humble and focused.

I am so ready for the 2020 Titans to kickoff their season!

What a fantastic way to start the year than on Monday Night Football!? National TV on ESPN! Titans AT Broncos. Broncos Young QB Drew Lock is nasty, but I believe the Titans will be ready and motivated after that loss last year against the Broncos. That loss last year was a big turning point in the season for the Titans. I believe it can be a symbolic win for the team if the Titans can pull out a victory on national TV in Week One! Both the Titans and the Broncos will have different QB's than their 2019 matchup.

September 14th, 10 P.M. East Coast time. Let's go!!!

My family is going to have a good night of football. My sister is a Steelers fan and my bro in-law is a Giants fan. Opening week on Monday Night football is a double header, it's Giants vs Steelers and then Titans vs Broncos! It will be a fun night! Just hope my sis and bro in-law don't get mad at each other LOL maybe they will tie hahaha. The Titans also play the Steelers this year but oh well it's just football but it's definitely always interesting when family members teams play each other!

These two weeks can't go fast enough, #Titanup baby!!
