Mountain Hiking Training to the Towers

Greetings friends of Hive, today I am going to share with you a mountain hiking training in the Los Chivos hill, along with my pet, who is my friend that always accompanies me for all these hiking trainings.

On Tuesday I had thought to start this training at 4 in the afternoon, but it turns out that in the afternoons I accompany my son in his futsal practices and we leave there a little late, so I thought I was not going to climb, however I left almost at 5 in the afternoon, it was a little late from the time I usually train, as the weather was very hot I was going to get to the third climb where the bars are, but then I changed my mind and decided to get to The Towers.

Since I started the training my pet Negrito accompanied me, he stayed a little behind I imagine that heat had him a little overwhelmed, when we reached the first climb and had a time of 10 minutes, the heat was strong, so I did not accelerate the pace of the walk to not get exhausted by the temperature.

Then I continued my journey in this first climb I met with friends who is in charge of watering the plants that are at the top of this mountain and was giving a talk to some people to collaborate by bringing up the 2 liter pots of water and deposit them in the basket that is in the first climb where the cross is, in order to use them for watering the plants. This is a great idea where each of us walkers and runners contribute a grain of sand for these plants to survive the drought.

It should be noted that I increased the pace on the third climb, making a time of 18 minutes, until this part my best time is 14 minutes and 46 seconds, that is to say that it is a much slower pace. Upon reaching the top, the descent begins again to reach the sector of Las Mercedes, taking a record of 24 minutes, Negrito came quite close, I waited a few seconds until he managed to get next to me.

It is important to carry a bag with a pot of water, because this way when we feel the need to drink, we have the hydration the body needs, and if you go with your pet also carry his pot for him to drink too, to avoid dehydration.

On the other hand then began again the climbs to reach the top with a time of 31 minutes, I continued walking to finish in Las Torres with a time of 33 minutes, there I rested a few seconds, took some pictures and I returned, Negrito and I took some water to keep us hydrated.

When we returned home, I slowed down the pace of the walk, because my pet was a little tired due to the heat, we arrived home with a time of 1 hour and 15 minutes. I hope you liked this hiking tour, see you in the next one.
