RE: Getting well-fingered

The MP5 and a few others do the job better than an Uzi every could. So ungainly to shoot and only really popular in the movies, and probably video games when a soggy carrot could also shoot well.

Ah, the video game references are quite true. You see these Uzis everywhere, especially in shooting games where they're held in both hands, and shot akimbo, just like that GIF! I've never shot before, but I can't imagine that being a good idea, other than for cinematic purposes of course :-D

Lol...Yep, shooting an Uzi in each hand would be monumentally dumb. When done in the movies they use lighter springs and ammunition loads so there is less recoil...In real life there's recoil. Part of the problem is the fact the grip is more towards the centre of the gun which makes recoil harder to manage. They are good in principle I guess, but they are a gun first brought into service in 1954...I don't know what relevance they have 66 years later in the modern world. None I'd say as there are better options.

There's a word that rhymes with gun...What is that word...Oh yeah, dumb...That's what an Uzi is.

Lol, well said! On the subject of the grip placement, is that why bull-pup rifles supposedly have lower recoil? I think it's got something to do with where the weight is located at, or something that I've heard. You're gripping the middle-ish like an Uzi, but with much better control, no?
