Rabona Review (Season #7)

Hello,

After my first Rabona review last week, I decided to do a short recap again here today.
Season number 7 was very interesting and my first in League 2 and unfortunately last for some time. End table shows it was close battle, where I pulled shorter way and relegated to League 3.
Below you can see that decision factor was goal difference and there was only place for one. I was a bit disappointed I have to admit that, as I needed quite a few seasons to advance and now one and done we could say. Still I saw how much higher level there is. Below you can see how the season ended in my league.

Next I would like to show you my fixtures and all matches I played. Last one hurts me the most. I know I could beat UWE-United, even though they were ranked seventh. How the last match went? Well early goal behind and then equalizer in 55th minute, but only few minutes later red card for my striker and end of dreams. I couldn’t change the match completely.
Looking whole season, I have to be the most proud on my win over The Motherfuckers three round before end of season and also draw on their home stadium. So I remain undefeated and actually with winning record against League winner. I am sharing all my game results on the photo below.

I have to admit, I was a bit passive last season. No new arrivals, no scouting, no facilities upgrade… Why? No money… I was all the time around + 20.000 RBN in my balance, so no possibility to upgrade my team. At the end of the season there came well deserved reward with annual sponsorship in amount of almost 500.000 RBN. Ohhh happy day with balance like that.

However balance didn’t remain like that much longer as I started the season with strong scouting. I spent around 250.000 RBN on scouting as my main players are not getting any younger and I have to start preparing some raising stars with training that I can replace some of my players over the time. I hoped for a bit more luck, with the amount spent, but still I managed to sign three decent players, with one of them becoming starter from the moment of singing. Below you can see this newcomer numbers.

To conclude, I am aiming for instant return to League 2! I won’t be happy with second place this year. I know only one can be first, but hey you have to aim high. Three rounds in the season I am second with 100% points. Some injuries also weakened my team, but depth so far was sufficient.
