I’ve heaped a lot of praises on how awesome fighting games are and how they hold a large portion in my favorite gaming genre… I’ve said a lot of great things about racing games as well and how they are up there in my list of favorite gaming genres as well… today, I will be talking about yet another video game genre that is right up there as far as my favorite gaming genre is concerned and a genre that is part of my unforgettable gaming memories. Action-adventure games are one of the most popular and best video game genres… There are a lot of highly successful titles under the action-adventure genre that makes it one of the favorites and most played genres as far as video gaming is concerned.

Much like I am a huge fan of fighting games and racing games, action-adventure games are one of my favorites as well… I’ve played a good number of amazing titles under this category that it is difficult to make a choice when trying to choose a game to play. My love for adventure game began way back in the days during my early video gaming journey. The 16 bit Sega Mega drive 2 console was the first video game console I owned and that was what where my video gaming journey all began. Much like how fighting game genre was the first genre I played as a video game, action-adventure was also among the first video game genres I played… Sunset Riders to be precise. Sunset Riders was the first action-adventure game I played and from that point, my love for the genre grew.

Action-adventure isn’t just a game you play, it is all about the story behind each action-adventure game. Every action-adventure game has a story behind it, hence why it is an adventure because you put yourself inside the character in the game to accomplish your goals through series of stages. When it comes to action-adventure games, there things that I look out for before I even decide to play the game. Gameplay, story, game mechanics, controls, and of course graphics. I didn’t include sounds because almost all high end games have very good sound designs but graphics quality varies. One thing about games in this genre is that it can be deceiving on the outside. Just like movies, game trailers could make the game seem amazing but when you actually play the game, it would be totally different from what you expected based on the trailer… That is the reason why I am always skeptical to rush into new games until I get enough reviews about it and be sure that it is something that I would like. Yes, it might end up not meeting your expectations but it would certainly not be that bad especially when a lot of persons approve it as very good. Hence why I am a big fan of game franchises with a track record of success and amazing games. One of the action-adventure games that I find amazing and fun to play, and I believe a lot of hard core gamers would say as well is God of War… the name of the game says it all… basically a game that focuses on intense fights, destructions and gore. Games like this evoke a special kind of experience when playing it in all its full glory.

God of War 4 is an amazing action-adventure game. The god of war franchise or series doesn’t need any introduction as it has made a name for itself as being one of the most successful video games. The game is played and loved by millions and millions of gamers all over the world, and for me, it is clear as one of my best action-adventure games I’ve ever played. When you talk about a truly immersive game, this game is definitely up the list. The gameplay of God of War 4 is out of this world hence why it is considered by many as the best God of War release. There are so many things I like about this game, the gameplay, the stunning graphics, the game mechanics, the sound design, controls, you name it… this game has it all and for me, it is a true definition of a game with an amazing gaming experience.

The gameplay of God of War is jaw dropping… If there is anything that is beyond awesomeness as far as gaming is concerned, then that is god of war 4 in my opinion. This game is so astonishingly outstanding and so immersive and captivating that is definitely up there in my list of best video games I’ve played till date. It is not possible to launch this game and play it without thinking about it all day and craving to pick up your controllers to play it again… That is how captivating the game is. God of war 4 is so amazing that some even call it the greatest game of this gaming generation. You can see that I wasn’t bluffing when I said that this game is super amazing and one of the best games I’ve ever played till date. The makers of this game put in a lot of work in the release, take off some unnecessary things and focusing on captivating storyline and immersive gameplay experience.

God of war is such a popular name in the video gaming community and anyone who has played any of the god of war titles would tell you that gameplay is one of god of war’s huge asset. Kratos is such a powerful god that when playing god of war, you begin to feel powerful as well…lol… because of what you can do with his abilities in the game. Also, one of the cool things about this game is the personalities in the characters…compared to a lot of games where the characters lacks personality, god of war tend to solve that as each character in the game comes with its own personality and life to it… making the game fully packed with a lot of emotions and intense action and gore. The cinematic of this game is one of the best I’ve seen in a game as well… the cinematography is just on another world… all the bits and pieces come together to make this game one of the most immersive games till date.

You wouldn’t talk about a god of war game without talking about the graphics. I don’t think there is anyone that would look at this game or play this game that would say anything other than stunning graphics. This game is clearly in the top of the top as far as game graphics is concerned and there are very few that come close to this game graphics wise let a lot better than it. The details on the characters and environments really adds to the intense and amazing gameplay and overall memorable gaming experience. Let’s not forget the sound design and the voice acting of some of the game characters, the voice actors did an amazing job on the voice acting and for me, they did justice to this stunning and fabulous game. I think I would have to drop the pen here because if I want to pour my mind out talking about this game, then I don’t think the pages would contain it… lol. Overall, god of war 4 is and will remain one of the greatest games ever made… it’s super fun, exciting, immersive and captivating to play - one of the best action-adventure games out there and very high up in my list of favorite games I’ve played till date.
