Atari VCS returns

It's been a long time since a new console was announced. No, we are not talking about PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, but Atari VCS. And it is that the proposal of this new platform is quite attractive, although the constant controversies about it and its long delays have meant that some are not yet very excited about the console. In any case, I remember that it is that platform that pretends to be a PC in the living room, being able to run current AAA PC games.

Finally (and once again), we can talk about a new launch window again. And is that the company has confirmed that Atari VCS will arrive this fall (via Game Informer). The console will arrive in the autumn to those users who support the project (whose collection, we remember, was a great success), while the units destined for pre-orders and stores will arrive by Christmas 2020, thus joining the new generation of consoles. But it did not end there, because they have announced one of their launch games:

Indeed, it is Missile Command: Recharged which is the return of one of its most classic titles that is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android, and is very well received. However, the Atari VCS version offers some exclusive features, such as compatibility with a Classic Joystick. It should also be remembered that this title will arrive in the Atari VCS digital store in the fall along with other games that will be announced soon.
