Binance Launchpool: Football Club Fan Tokens

Binance has tweeted that it will launch Juventus (JUV) and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Football Club Fan Tokens through Binance Launchpool! The launch of the farm will take place on December 15th and tokens can be obtained by staking BNB, BUSD and CHS tokens for a month.

The total supply of tokens is 20 million per team and the distribution on Binance's Launchpool will take place following this subdivision:

Tokenization advances

Several times there has been talk of tokenization, that is the process that will give a value expressed in tokens to certain realities such as football that generates a turnover of billions of dollars a year. Initially, these were tokens issued by Chiliz on the Socios.com proprietary blockchain, but with the integration of the project in Binance Launchpool, the JUV and PSG tokens will be launched on the public Binance Smart Chain blockchain.

Honestly, it is not clear what the use of tokens will be in reality, it was thought about the creation of benefits for its owners such as participation in internal club surveys or they can constitute a value in the merchandising of the teams, receive discounts or other. I am a Juventus fan and honestly I have not read anything official from the Italian club and at the moment I really don't know what benefit it would bring to the user who buys the token. At the moment I know it is only speculation and I don't think that similar projects can have a rosy future if not supported by the clubs in a concrete way.

The tokenization process can certainly add value to the context in which it is applied but I am convinced that it is necessary to build a serious project around it, otherwise it risks being just a miserable pump and dump. To date, without any news about it, I would never buy Fan Tokens, even though they represent clubs of global value, but this exactly leaves me perplexed: why is such an important event for two football clubs not sponsored by the same?

My position is therefore of caution, I have not yet understood for example what the price of the tokens will be at launch on Binance Launchpool and I do not think I will buy these Juventus tokens at the moment, although I am a fan of the club but I have not read anything about it. interesting about it. Probably if I had BNB or BUSD I would participate in the farm out of curiosity rather than out of desire to receive the token.

Tokenization is a process that will involve many sectors but not all of them are necessarily successful. With this post I don't want to discourage anyone from buying or participating in the Binance Launchpool and it is my personal thought.

La tokenizzazione avanza

Più volte si è parlato della tokenizzazione ossia quel processo che darà un valore espresso in token a determinate realtà come quella calcistica che genera un fatturato da miliardi di dollari l'anno. Inizialmente si trattava di token emessi da Chiliz sulla blockchain proprietaria di Socios.com, ma con l’integrazione del progetto in Binance Launchpool i token JUV e PSG verranno lanciati sulla blockchain pubblica Binance Smart Chain.

Sinceramente non è ben chiaro quale potrà essere l'utilizzo dei token nella realtà, si è pensato alla creazione di benefit per i suoi possessori come ad esempio la partecipazione a sondaggi interni al club oppure possono costituire un valore nel merchandising delle squadre, ricevere sconti o altro. Io sono un tifoso della Juventus e sinceramente non ho letto nulla di ufficiale da parte del club Italiano e al momento non saprei davvero quale benefit porterebbe all'utente che acquista il token. Al momento io le so che sia solo speculazione e non penso che progetti simili possano avere un futuro roseo se non supportati dai club in modo concreto.

Il processo di tokenizzazione può apportare sicuramente valore al contesto in cui si applica ma io sono convinto che sia necessario costruire in progetto serio attorno ad esso, altrimenti rischia di essere solo un misero pump e dump. Ad oggi, senza alcuna notizia in merito non acquisterei mai i Fan Token, sebbene rappresentino club di valore mondiale, ma proprio questo mi lascia perplesso: perché un evento così importante per due club di calcio non è sponsorizzato dagli stessi?

La mia posizione è quindi di cautela, non ho ancora capito ad esempio quale sarà il prezzo dei token al lancio su Binance Launchpool e non credo che acquisterò al momento questi token della Juventus, sebbene io sia un fan del club ma non ho letto nulla d'interessante a riguardo. Probabilmente se avessi BNB o BUSD parteciperei alla farm per curiosità più che per brama di ricevere il token.

La tokenizzazione è un processo che coinvolgerà moltissimi settori ma non è detto che tutti siano di successo. Con questo post non voglio scoraggiare nessuno dal comprare o partecipare al Launchpool di Binance ed è un mio personale pensiero.
