Today I liked to see that in our Orinoco river, the largest in Venezuela, specifically in its narrowest part, I observed a person practicing windsurfing, reaching the other side of the river and returning, precisely at the tourist site called "Mirador Angostura".

The Orinoco river is the largest and mightiest in Venezuela, the other two largest rivers flow into it. This sport practice is not very common to see it in this area, so it was a nice spectacle.

This is the largest river in the country and with a lot of history from the colonial era, it has great beauty, perhaps something very underestimated and misused. I hope one day it will be given the value it deserves.

Surely with a professional camera the photos are better but I enjoyed taking them with the phone, the Orinoco river is great.

That looks pretty fun and I saw small boat too, do people use that?

Yes, that boat is called a "curiara", the locals use it with an oar to get around, in the rainy season the river grows a lot and they only use the curiaras that have motors.
