Alexa Grasso es la actual campeona de UFC en peso mosca tras derrotar a Valentina Shevchenko, sometiendola con un mataleon en UFC 285 en Marzo de 2023. Esta pelea le dió 2 de los 3 premios de Fighter Only en MMA. Sumisión del Año, Upset del año, y también gano la Peleadora del año.

Con 30 años, entrena en Gualadalajara, Jalisco México, ha peleado 12 veces en UFC. Inició su carrera en México, y después de 4 peleas, se fue a la liga femenil Invicta FC, de donde han llegado varias peleadoras a UFC. Después de 8 peleas ganadas, debuta en UFC donde gana su primera pelea, conitnuó con 3 derrotas y 2 victorias en sus siguientes 5 peleas. Para remontar con 5 victorias consecutivas incluyendo el campeonato.

En un segundo encuentro con Shevchenko la pelea terminó como Empate, lo que habré la posibilidad de un tercer encuentro y con una agenda de 2024 abierta.
He tenido oportunidad de verla pelear en UFC y también de convivir con ella en un par de eventos. Ojalá cierre 2024 siendo nuevamente Campeona 👑

In a second fight with Shevchenko the fight ended as a Draw, which opens the possibility of a third fight in 2024.
