Awesomeness of Hockey and Why I’m a Huge Fan of it...

Anyone who is a big fan of sports have heard the sport known as hockey… Hockey is one sport I like so much... very similar to football or soccer (whichever one you like to call it)… I’ve always enjoyed watching hockey on Tv and it has always remained one of my favorite sports to watch even though I have never watched a hockey game live simply because where I come from, hockey isn’t really a popular sport and I haven’t had the reason to visit any place where hockey is played… however, I hope one day, probably soon, I will have the chance to visit and watch a hockey match live.

Like I said earlier, I’ve always liked and enjoyed watching hockey even at a very young age… and my likeness for hockey began way back in the days - during my childhood days… I can remember when I first came across a hockey game on Tv, it was totally fascinating how people could control a very small ball with just a stick with a flat and curved base that is very similar to the golf club. I saw some of the hockey players doing some crazy skills and showing incredible ball control and dribbling… more like the hockey players doing a lot of what footballers or soccer players do with the ball… for me, it was super amazing and fun to watch and from then, I became really interested in the sport and never looked back since.

Hockey is such a fun sport to watch, since I like football as well, I pretty know understand most of what is happening in hockey because the two sport share a lot in common even though they are totally different in terms of how the game is played. In my opinion, I think hockey is a lot more technical to learn and requires a lot of skills to be good at. I feel it is much easier to maneuver the ball with your legs since you have maximum control of your legs than with a golf club-like object in full pace. That is one of the reasons I respect the sport very well because I know it isn’t an easy sport to get good at. Not only that hockey is such a super fun sport to watch, I also like the way the game is played, the atmosphere inside during a hockey match and the overall aesthetics of the game. it is without a doubt one of the top sports, really awesome sport, hence why I’m a huge fan of it.
