It is not a new thing that there are hundreds of sports both popular and unpopular. This is good because it gives people a variety of option to choose from which they enjoy the most. Handball as we all know is a sport, it is quite popular but widely recognized sport. For me, handball is one of my favorite sports and one that has been involved in a lot of arguments and comparison because of its similarities with sports like basketball, football and netball…

Handball is a sport I knew about for a very long time, however, it was later on I became a fan of it and started liking the sport when I first watched it in the Olympic Games. It was very entertaining and as someone who is a big fan of football, I was totally impressed with how much of a football and basketball vibe it has. Based on my research, I learnt that it is a sport that draws from football, basketball and netball, and if you look at these sports in action, you will see that handball pretty much has elements from these three sports.

Even though handball has elements of football, basketball and netball, it is a lot more similar to basketball than the other 2 because of the general gameplay of the sport and how the players move with the ball. With this, is handball more fun than basketball? – In my opinion, I would say it is… I find handball more fun and interesting to watch compared to basketball. This is just my opinion because a hardcore basketball fan would definitely say otherwise. Basketball is fun especially for those who like the sport… I like the basketball as well, but if I’m to choose between basketball and handball, the sport spend time to watch… then I would definitely go watch handball because for me, it is really entertaining.
