Heavy Defeat for Barcelona – My Thoughts on the Barcelona vs PSG Game…
Hurrayyyy… The champions league is back again with yet another episode of different emotions. A sad and disappointing moment for Barcelona as they received a heavy defeat at home which means that they now have a huge mountain to climb to go through to the next round. The young superstar Mbappe was the main runner of the show in this game, scoring an impressive hattrick to inflict a heavy defeat on Barcelona… I have to say, the match was super fun and entertaining to watch as both teams played football.
I’m not usually the type to get overly excited about a football match, but when it comes to top competition matches like the champions league, worldcup and euros, I don’t joke with them and try to watch the games that interest me and today, it was the Barcelona ve PSG game. I’m not a fan of both teams, but for this game, I was in support of PSG… I like PSG a lot because of some of the players they have… players like Mbappe and Neymar are the big reasons why I like watching PSG. PSG were the better side today and deservedly got the win and a big advantage to them for the return fixture at home. Mbappe hattrick and a goal from Keane secured a 4-1 win for PSG against Barcelona who are no longer looking like they Barcelona we used to know few years ago. It is so unfortunate that Barcelona has slowly gone downhill since Pep left the club and now, they are looking so ordinary. I used to enjoy watching Barcelona back then when they were the kings of tiki taka football but not anymore as they now look like an every day ordinary team that anybody can beat without being at their best. This game against PSG is a huge blow for them especially at home, but we all know that anything can happen I football. Let’s wait and see what happens in the second leg at Paris.
