Mountain Climbing and Why it is an Amazing Recreational Activity…

Mountain climbing has always been one of my favorite outdoor recreational activities. I enjoy every bit of it. The excitement when going on a fun mountain climbing experience with friends is just on another level. The funny thing is that, as fun as mountain climbing is to some people myself included, there are people terrified by the idea of mountain climbing or people afraid of heights. This is normal though as what person A loves might be the nightmare of another person… that is just how life is. Back in the days I used to admire rock/mountain climbers a lot and the guts they have to embark on the mountain climbing missions. For me, I found it really fascinating.

My first mountain climbing experience wasn’t probably a few years ago… yes, I’ve always admired and wished that I had the opportunity to climb mountains right from my childhood days, but I had my first taste of mountain climbing few years ago and I have to say, that was an unforgettable experience. In my opinion, the moment, you summon courage to go on a mountain climbing, you will see that there is nothing there, at first there might me nervousness here and there, but once you are on it especially with friends, the fun takes over.

After that first mountain climbing experience, I fell in love with it and loved every moment of it. For me, it is so much fun and the good thing is that, it isn’t only about the fun, it is also a great form of exercise and way to keep fit. Anyone who has embarked on mountain climbing before would tell you how physically demanding it is. I repeat, mountain climbing is physically demanding and required a lot of endurance and stamina. This is why is a great way to keep fit. While it is fun, it comes with a lot of fitness benefits just like every other sports or activity that is physically demanding… Mountain climbing can help build up the leg muscles and balance. It is also a great cardio as well. This is also a great way to lose weight due to the physical demand of mountain climbing. Even though this isn’t something that is done on a regular, it is an activity that I still place right up there as one of my favorite outdoor recreational activity.
