Some of My Favorite Exercises and Ways to Keep Fit – Running

Running isn’t something that a lot of people fancy or the most fun, but is one of the highly effective forms of exercise and ways to keep fit. It is a great aerobic exercise and for me, as far as aerobic/cardio exercises is concerned, running is at the top. I love running a lot and I find it fun even though a lot of people don’t find it fun. Enjoy listening to my favorite playlist with headphones and running on a cool and quite street… it is amazing. The good thing is that a 10 minutes run does a lot, hence why it is one of the most effective forms of aerobic exercises/cardio.

For some people, once they hear the word running, they begin to think about outdoor running. Well they are somewhat correct but running doesn’t have to be done outdoors in fact, you can achieve the same result as someone who ran so many hours on the streets inside the comfort of your home. This is where the treadmill comes into play. Treadmills were designed to help people run at home without leaving the space they are in.

That is the beauty of a treadmill… for me, even though I like running outside with music playing in my ears, I love running on treadmills as well… I can have a similar running experience especially with the music on or with my headphones… a very similar experience. And the good thing is that, you will achieve the same result… nothing different in terms of the benefits of running outside vs running on a treadmill. I don’t think anyone can question the benefits of quality exercise as the benefits are already crystal clear everywhere. However, I will just highlight few of the benefits of running regardless of where. Running is a great way to burn calories and excess fat. It helps to build stronger bones. Helps to develop stronger and strengthen the leg muscles. Running is amazing as far as improving cardiovascular fitness is concerned. It helps to maintain a healthy weight… the benefits can go on and on. That is how beneficial few minutes of running can do for the body.

Running is amazing in my opinion… yes, not everyone likes to run, some people like to do more stationary exercises like stretching and stuff like that but running is on a different level. Other forms of exercises are great… in fact, it is good to incorporate different forms of exercises as that is the best way to achieve the best fitness result. I love running a lot, most especially running at very early in the morning or late in the evening where the whole weather is cool and calm. Overall, running is a great exercise that everyone should do and for me, it is definitely one of my favorite exercises and ways to keep fit.
