ARSENAL LOST FIRST FRIENDLY PRE-SEASON MATCH AGAINST HIBERNIAN
Arsenal became the first of the top six England clubs to play a friendly pre season game. All Arsenal players were present in the match except for Saka who played for England national team in Euro 2020. Other young players that were just promoted by gunners were also available for the game.
Despite all world class players that Arsenal lined up against the Scottish club, Arsenal still lost 2-1 to the team.
The game started with an early goal from Hibernian and Australia striker in 21st minute of action. Arsenal who are known for their tiki taka game played a very impressive football but could not get a goal.
Arsenal started the second half of the match very well by oppressing the Scottish team but could not get a goal until the Hibernian team double the lead in the 69th minute by the 20 years old Daniel Machar.
Arsenal managed to get a penalty in the 73rd minute which was played by Pepe but unfortunately the player miss the penalty. Arsenal manage to get another opportunity 9 minute later but do not hesitate to convert it to goal. The goal was scored by Arsenal midfielder Smith Rowe.

Very well they are ready,no team can be judged base on pre season performance and I must let you know that your assessment of the squad is too early Irrespective of today's results,they still have a long way to go and this match to.me.does not mean they are going to have a bad season
thanks for your comment but the truth is this is not a good way to start and as for me it is embarrassing result. team like Hibernian did not suppose to concede lesser than 3 goals from Arsenal that has Abumayang and Lacazette. this are world class striker that even Tammy Abraham of Chelsea cannot withstand.
the truth is that team like Hibernian that are no way to be found in their league should not be defeating Arsenal. this is not really speaking well about the team with quality players.
Not a good sign from Arsenal losing the Scottish side despite fielding top players for this clash. I guess they're are giving us a prelude to the coming season.
Are you really serious with the question? I don't see them making the top 6. They've showed little sign that they are ready to improve on their previous season. No interesting signing, same old boring squad.
Normally Arsenal don't take preseason match serious that is why the do play their emirates cup which they platy like small tournament for them to be serious about the game for them been preparing for tittle race . so don't judge any team from the preseason match they play
The lost of Arsenal to a low rated team like Hibernian , show that Arsenal are still an average team .
