We have come to the end of a fantastic moment of euro 2020. All the teams came prepared and show world class football skills. The teams that we used to know as the underdogs came out strong and brave like lion ready to do battle with the most favorable soccer beast on the field.
The German machine as we all know them to be came out with cold feet in their games.
The Poland team couldn't polish their opponents well enough.
The turkish couldn't dish a well roasted turkey to their opponent.
The French team were not formidable enough to clinch a place in the last four.
The Portuguese tried their very best to maneuver their way to the last 16, but that was the end of the journey for them.
The Denmark team were undermined by all teams and they stylishly fought their way to the semi final. The hope of reaching the final was thwarted by a controversial late penalty in favour of the English team who were playing on their home soil.
The Italians narrowly escaped the well studded Spanish team who possessed the game from start to finish. The penalty shoot out was a thing for the azzurri..
The final game came yesterday July 11,2021 as both teams have a record to break.
The English team hasn't gotten a trophy since the one they won on home soil in 1966 world cup.
Victory on this last day and again on their home soil meant a whole lot to them.
The Italians on the other side won an European championship last in 1968.
In 53 years, they are yet to add to the only medal they got. Rome was hot yesterday just as wembley was on fire.
Unfortunately, London Bridge collapsed just like the Olympus fell. The whole England went cold after the defeat as three substituted players lost their penalty shoot out to the hand of the Italian shot stopper. The city or Rome came alive after the final whistle and their team declared the winner of this year European game.
It was an interesting experience to see almost all the drama that unfold from June to July 2021.
The nation's football challenge might be over, but there is something to still keep us all alive.

Europa league games are around the corner.
We are all getting ready to see great teams do tackle again.
Who will emerge the champion of Europe come May 2022.
football be very funny at times but it is a game anyway and it is not played on the paper. To be able to succeed on the pitch one really need to prepare well and get their strategy right.

Quite an interesting read. Love the way you played with words with certain countries. The just concluded European Championship was one of a kind. With lots of surprises and upsets. It's the best I have ever followed since watching football.
The European body just keep ditching out exciting tournament. Can't wait to Uefa Champions league to commence and the Europa. Those are both interesting one. But the Euro had to come first has it involves National teams.
For the winner of the coming Uefa European tournament in 2022. Quite can say till the summer window is over. But as it stands currently, I think French Champions Paris Saint Germain stands a great chance after it's transactions in the transfer window.
