Denmark beat Czechs to reach last four

Denmark continued their impressive run in the European Championship has they booked passage in semi final after seeing off Czech Republic 2-1 at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan.

Since the trauma suffered by midfielder Christian Eriksen in their first group game, the Denmark team has waxed stronger and grown more United has a team.

Thomas Delaney opened scoring for the Danes the 5th after converting a header from the corner. The Danes went two goals up in the 42 minutes after Kasper Dolberg converted after a beautiful cross from Joakim Maehle.

Czech forward Patrik Schick reduced the deficit in the 49th minutes to 2-1 and also moved his tally in the competition to five goals. The remaining minutes saw chances produced by both team but Denmark was able hold on to full time.

Denmark faces the winner of England or Croatia in their semi final match scheduled to take place 8:00pm, Wednesday 7th July at the Wembley Stadium.

Honestly Denmark did brilliantly well even when there are lot of pressure on from Czech Republic to level up the score they still hold their ground to denied them.

I must commend them from restraining the forward for most part of the match. Denmark in the semi is great. Hope to see continue their form when they face off England. That will be a really challenging match.

It is a knock out and no point is required in at this stage anymore,but still Demark as proven to be a country to be revoon with in this tournament

Yeah quite aware of that. Used that phrase to signify their progression. Technically it is has it plays a part in their fifa rankings. Denmark has been a highly spirited team to watch. Do you think they can repeat the feat of the 1992 European Championship?
