England stuns Germany with two late goals to book place in Euro 2020 quarterfinals
Gareth Southgate men stood up the Germans in the round of 16 has they came out victorious after two second half goals saw advance to the euro 2020 quarter finals.
It was a hard fought victory and a statement from England who did really well to contain the attacks and speed the Germans brought into the game at the Wembley.
Raheem Sterling who rescued the team in the group stage games against Croatia and Czech Republic proved to be the difference yet again has converted in the 75th minutes after a Luke Shaw cross.
The game was further put to bed in the 86th minutes after forward and Captain Harry Kane opened his account in the euro 2020 after dispatching a perfect delivery from Jack Grealish.
England will now be facing Ukraine after Eastern Europe country defeated Sweden in extra time. The game between takes place 8pm at Rome on Saturday.

Yeah. It really was. Both of my picks of yesterday sadly didn't come through. The tournament really fully of surprises this past few days. I think we might as well be seeing a new winner at the end of the tournament
I was really hoping for CR7 as he was always a favorite, but now I suppose Ukraine would be my first pick. I am Ukrainian Canadian, and here in Canada it's all about respecting other cultures without having one ourself lol.
It would be nice to see the most underdog team win, imo.
Portugal was also mine. Nice, will be supporting Ukraine too. Seem to love the underdog story. Indeed it would be a really great one
Although it not too surprised me because I predicted England to won the game. The one that shuck me is that of Ukraine that beat Sweden to go for quarter final. Congratulations to Ukraine
Was a little surprised as England was abysmal to watch in the group despite topping the group. They really did well containing the Germans. Congratulations to them.
Yeah the real shocker for me was the Ukrainians win. Sweden were really in form in their group game so I expect them continue in that momentum but sadly Ukraine who qualified as part of the best third got the much needed result. Congratulations to them

It was indeed an interesting encounter between the two horse power and it really spark up alot of Chances for both teams,but at the end thanks to Raheem sterling and Harry Kane strike ensure that Gareth Southgate men made it to next round
Yeah quite an exciting from this top dogs. I guess the better team saw it the next round. Germany were wasteful and it ultimately cost them
England really deserve the winning. They have been consistent mostly in the area of defense they are the only team to have gone far like this in the tournament without conceding a single goal.
Yeah it was really well deserved. I also give them Kudos in the area of consistency and scraping out the needed result. Surprisingly also their defense is yet to be breached. I hope they keep it up. Looking forward to see how they hold it up in their backline in the quarter game against Ukraine on Saturday
