Scotland's Euro hopes ended by Croatia
Scotland hope of making it past the group stage after 11 appearances in major tournaments ended after Croatia handed them a 3-1 defeat in the last group game.
This match happened to be very crucial one for both sides as the winner was set to make qualification spot. The match took place at the National stadium in Glasgow.
Nikola Vlasic strike in the 17th minutes of first half saw Croatia draw first blood but Callum McGregor goal before half time sent ray of hope to the 12,000 fans present at the stadium.
Luka Modric and Ivan Perisic goal in the second half condemned any hope the Scots had has they fell to their first loss against Croatia in about six matches between the two sides.
Croatia advances to the knockout stage after coming 2nd behind group leaders England, Scotland on the other hand bows out after coming 4th in the group with a point.
