Quite an impact both players have made in the football World. Breaking and smashing records for fun. They are both amazing.
When I see people compare them or fight over who is better, I get a little pissed. We are to appreciate and recognize as they bring to the game of football. After they bow out from the football scene, we may never see players like them again in a long while.
This is really a unique number,the players has really done well doing their time are their name will forever be in the history of football..
If not the fact that nothing last forever I would have say their will be forever, but it is certain that better players are still coming up.. A lot of unknown player are still coming up and when their started it will be more greater and better than them..
the worth of the two players can not be under emphasis. the are great players and have broken so many record. for me I don't really like comparing because both of them are really unique.
i love both of them equally and i admire their controls and skills. They are both greatest player of all time.
hopefully the newbies that are coming after them might learn great lesson from both of them. Both Player won the highest goal scorer of their continent tournament. they are both fantastic.

Definitely the two players are the best of all time to me,I might not have been in the days of Pele,maradona and the great weah who as been the only African player to have won the balloond'or trophy,but in my generation and base in what have seen this two players as really done well for me to have chosen them as the best of all.
Messi might not have been my best No ten due to the love and passion I have for Jay Jay okocha of the Nigeria national team in his days at Bolton wanders ,but arguably he as done well in that shirt,after wining 6 balloond'or which as makes him the player with the highest number of the award.
But for Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably my best player in that number 7 shirt,even duo I still managed to see the likes of Figo doing well in that shirt for the Portuguese national team,but a player that as leave a mark in every City and club he as played for like him is not much,his perfect contribution at the just concluded Euro's something to be talked about, despite their early elimination from the tournament,but some feat where achieved by him where he won the golden boot and he break the record of all time men football international goal scorer.
But of all both Messi and Ronaldo will be missed once they hang their boot, they have been a beast on the filed of play,indeed they are greats in their own way and they have contribute alot to the world of football and even bring a lot of juicy moment for the football loving fans to see and talked about
