At the international level, yes but for all time scorer which includes club and country, he happens to sit behind Josef Bican who has 805 as compared to Ronaldo's 782.
The Portuguese forward will most likely exceed this has he needs just 24 goals to do that. I bet he will be smashing it before year end
There's also the controversy with Pele's tally. Some claims he scored over 1200 goals, even though the official number is 757 I believe. Depending on where you check, the numbers can actually vary a lot. One thing for sure, whether you like him or not (not a big fan myself), Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time.
Yeah the Brazilian legend happened to have already congratulated Ronaldo so I think his goals of 757 is what is officially recognized. The Portuguese is certainly regarded up there. He statistics and goals puts him in such heights
