"Any Sunday you are going to win or lose. The question is: can you win or lose like a man?"

In its time it was a failure but despite everything I saw it and I liked it. Among other things, because I am really ignorant of football, an entertaining and interesting movie. The two and a half hours that it lasts do not weigh thanks to the rhythm that Oliver Stone gives it and the much commented edition of it, it is true that it will tire a bit, but the script says a lot and gives dynamism to the story.

The film has a luxurious cast full of luxurious faces and cameos like that of veteran Heston. Young promises like Cameron Díaz or Jamie Foxx, confirmed actors like Pacino, Quaid or Woods, in the history of the sports business, more precisely that of American football.

We are attending the jousting of the big shots leading by Cameron Díaz de armas taking, with the rope around his neck and unauthorized for lack of results, sports stars with his pass the roof, veterans who see a bad turn to his Professional life, they must turn to drugs to overcome because their body does not give more of it - and all because of the constant desire to win.

These are some of the topics that are treated in a dense and irregular but extremely interesting film. I would also highlight its powerful soundtrack.

Oliver Stone lived through the glorious 80s in which his talent as an artist was recognized at all times. In the 90s, things started to change due to failed titles like Nixon.

But to close the 90's, Stone offered us this interesting book, far from being perfect, it is convincing because of its ability to interest topics that many people, like me, are unaware of, even so it is an incredible movie.
