Hivechess Tournament Season 14 Round 1: @maestroask won narrowly
Dear chess fans,
welcome to season 14! The first round started yesterday with a 4+1 arena. 26 players had participated - less than usual (probably due to the registration needed) but all who have participated had played at least 3 games, this has not happened since a loong time!
@maestroask, like in the last season, took the lead but this time only with a razor-thin lead, ex aequo in points with @wildthougts. @sawko was third, followed by @rosmarly and @vjap55. Congratulations!
@eniolw and @fcastro177 landed on ranks 10 and 12 only, most likely due to connection problems. Good, that the worst result won´t count 😀.
In this position from my game against @samostically I had missed a mate in 2. For sure you can find it!
