Lord Have Messi 2 : A Sports Freewrite

Talking of shots fired at the goal post with little to no assistance from anyone, Messi's goal that day was way out of what we've seen before and will forever be. This was a shot fired from long distance, as long as half the field. No one would have expect this, the look on the face of Messi didn't show much expectation, all he wanted to do was try his luck and the luck was the saving grace of his club for that day, the game and the league.

We rejoiced at the goal, this was just first half, so we played on, trying every luck, driving the ball harder than we could into the opponent net, none came through the net. The second half saw us defending that lone goal, the saving grace goal.

We will never forget that day Messi saved us. The Lord really have Messi.
