After staying about a week in Bangkok , i continue my travel journey to Chiang Mai. It was about 751 KM away , and i decided to use train going to Chiang Mai .

WELCOME TO BANGKOK TRAIN STATION

The train journey will take about 13 hours and ticket is at 25 USD. I decide to take overnight train so i can sleep in train and arrive in Chiang Mai early in the morning.

You can buy your ticket at the station or buy from online 12go.asia . They a little bit expensive but it is better than getting there and found out the ticket from the counter is sold out.

My stay for the night , it quite comfortable and has a huge space for me to sleep. All thing that we need to be careful is the pickpocket , it is important to put everything important near you especially when you sleeping in the train . I have see someone has been pickpocket when i travel in Vietnam using train. Well , it might happen everywhere and we have to be careful .

I did reach there early in the morning , it end up i need to walk to the nearest bus station to meet my friend in Chiang Mai . I have been so lucky to meet him when i was in my solo travel in Myanmar and he offer me to stay at his guest house when i was in Thailand.

Welcome to beautiful and peaceful city of Chiang Mai

Chiang mai is one of my best favorite place. One thing i love chiang mai is their fresh vegetable. Here you can find fresh organic vegetable with cheap price. I hope to come here and take more picture everyday after the covid.
