#CryptoFinance Initiative: How has Crypto and Blockchain Technology Impacted my Personal Finance?
My story with the crypto world began at the end of October 2017, Bitcoin had started its rally and I, pushed by a friend, invested my first 200 euros when its value was now between $ 7000 and $ 8000 if not. I remember wrong. I knew absolutely nothing about what Bitcoin or a Blockchain was but I was attracted by the high earning possibilities, thinking of accumulating and increasing my investment without doing anything.
Among other things, both me and my friend, fell in the scam called USI TECH where you bought packages of 50 euros and these would have generated profits according to the classic pyramid scheme. Meanwhile, you also randomly bought Tron, just before the uptrend began and from $ 0.02 it came to about $ 0.20, but I never sold, thinking it could go up even more. In February 2019 Usi Tech closes and bye-bye investment, Tron begins to sell and so, after a few Sell and Buy as a pure ignorant on the subject, I lost everything.
At this very moment, my hope of becoming rich had collapsed, losing everything I had invested. The crypto impact on my financial situation has been truly devastating. I spent some time reading the forums until I met Steem and here I started writing posts and receiving the first rewards. My first post I believe received 0.01 $. But then it was all a crescendo, accumulating and increasing my wallet and also investing in a project in which I have always believed, Cardano.
To this day I continue to accumulate Hive, Leo and Sports, while my ADAs are locked in a pool that provides me with an annual income of about 5%. But today it is not enough to change my financial life.
To have an economic income such as to give up everything and live off crypto, the market will have to increase its value by a lot but honestly at this moment I am not in a hurry as long as in the next few years I am in a position to decide to leave my current job and dedicate myself only to my blog on Hive and Leofinance.
I dream of being able to pay off my mortgage with a nice Bitcoin transaction to send to the bank manager with the memo: Fuck you bloodsucker! Or I often imagine the scene where I show up to my boss in the office and tell him: I quit everything, you broke my balls!
I am optimistic that all this will be opposed one day and I am willing to wait, holding on to these hot images for me especially when maybe the days at work are not good. I dream of financial independence from this world where if you are not at the top of the list then you are just a number or an object.
These days I check the value of my wallet on Blockfolio on a daily basis and it is a really good feeling to see it grow slowly. When Hive, LEO, Sports and Cardano reach such a value that I am convinced that cryptocurrencies can finally change my life, then I can say: Yes, I finally did it! My life from today has a new beginning

Ouch! The more stories I read, the more I see ow many people got burnt one way or the other. On the other hand you're doing great on Hive and that will pay off one day, you'll see :)

We can't all get rich overnight, if we had let's say 100 btc then maybe yes :p. I tend to think of it like this: cryptos are first and foremost spare money or an account that will helo into a future difficulty. Now ofc the goal is to live off crypto but i set smaller goals!
hahahahahhaha where are you from? we got an expression like that in my country and as far as i know, it isn't that common anywhere else (or maybe not :P)
