I think it will create new tribes and the existing tribes will improve as the spot light is on them now. They need to show a reason why people invest in them over another tribe. It could be for a number of reasons including something simple like policing their tribe stopping abuse. Many have potential and it will be good to see who does what.

I agree with this, the drive for competition would make the tribes leaders to wake up to responsibility to give more value to their stakeholders and niche users.
