Splinterland's Equalizer Battle challenge.

in LeoFinance2 months ago

Whenever I think of equalizer rule the first thing come into my mind is exploding dwarf in position first, hitting first, doing nice damage to first 2 monsters of opponent side with option of retaliate.

eql.png

But unfortunately ruleset did not allowed fire splinter and I decided to use Earth splinter but here also Odd one out ruleset means that I cannot use my favorite flesh golem and wood nymph combination.

ruleset.png

My team in Order: Lyanna Natura(Summonner),Stone Golem, Earth Elemental, Screeching Vulture, Mushroom seer, Brownie and Goblin Sorcerer.

Opponent team in order: Alric Stormbringer(Summonner),Enchanted Pixie, Mermaid Healer, Mischievous Mermaid, Albatross, Water Elemental and Crustacean King.

Let me introduce my team:

Lyanna Natura.png

It give +1 boost to all monster.

Stone Golem.png

I am banking on shield pf my stone golem, A very rarely used card by me.

Earth Elemental.png

3 mana card with self heal and 2 attack.

Screeching Vulture.png

Another one of my favorite card .Have opportunity, scavenging and flying ability.

Mushroom Seer.png

Silence and poison are 2 very strong ability on mushroom seer. Much needed as I have no void, reflect and heal for my tank.

Brownie.png

+1 melee attack and +1 swiftness in 1 mana only.

Goblin Sorcerer.png

Magic snipe attack, I am always in doubt to use it because of it's less health but equalizer rule set gave me liberty to use it.

battle1.png

Team look after all summoners and monsters abilities are in effect. After seeing so many healers in opponent's team, my heart skipped a beat.

battle2.png

Opponent tank is down and I can say I am super lucky that I did not missed single shot. Opponent healers did not get the chance to heal the tank.

battle3.png

My tank is also down exposing Earth Elemental at first position. Will heal of Earth Elemental will prove useful?

battle4.png

Earth Elemental survived in front for a round, acting as tank for me. I am happy that opponent Mermaid Healer is down because it is nullifying my magic snipe attack on Crustacean King.

battle5.png

Wow!, Scavenging caused screeching vulture to gather nice health.

battle6.png

Battle is still balanced even after enemy crustacean king was taken down. My screeching vulture took down the Mischievous Mermaid and Mushroom seer poisoned the Albatross, paving victory for me.

2 things that are crucial in this battle
a. My Brownie, though not an active participant but is very useful because of it's +1 swiftness and +1 melee attack. That's only reason that I took opponent monsters before they get chance to be healed.
b. Has my opponent placed the Water Elemental at end ,instead of Crustacean King result will be different. So guys watch your tail also in the matches.

Good strategy and I also think that when you have this rule the priority is to use the Fire Splinter if it is playable.

One of the things that make battles fun is the challenges that the rules impose on us and that is why we must have good strategies to win.

More the cards, more the variety and more strategies can be devised.

A great victory, interesting analysis!

@tipu curate

Thank you.

Actually I play multiple battle for the challenge and put that one that may look and sound interesting.

Nice review of your game! I am not going to play this game, but I’m sure it is interesting for people who are thinking about joining the game.

You can say it might be bit time consuming and ask for constant investment but rewards are great specially if you have got level 4 summoners and up.

I believe that. If the tactics of the game is something that you enjoy then I totally get it if people only do splinterlands and stop most other activities in the blockchain.

A couple years before, when I was still single I might have tried out splinterlands. But now I simply have no time.

After writing a blog and responding to comments I usually only just find a little time to look at dcity, cryptobrewmaster and my other investments.

I have now also started a risingstar account, but I have told myself that it is ok if I ignore that completely on some days.

Yes, I love to watch my full battle instead of skipping them.

Ah, so you don’t do anything during the battle correct. You set up your team and then you let it play against the opponents?

I leave very occasionally, because in most cases it cause me to fled the battlefield.
Not good in multiprocessing multitasking.

But I play 2 accounts simultaneously.

Ok, why do you play two accounts? Is that to get more season rewards? I heard something about that.

More season rewards, more daily rewards and more DEC.

Well done! I must say Brownie played a vital role in the match and I can see why you selected Earth Elemental in that position, nice thinking. The victory was yours successfully.
