What I Got Buying 20 Cards Randomly

(Edited)

Before getting started on dCity, I read some posts to learn more about it. I'm still learning and reading to know what other people think about it and their experience. I read somewhere, it says that it is better to invest or reinvest in dCity on a consistent basis to grow.

Everyone has his/her budget and plan how much he/she would like to spend and grow the city. Today I bought 20 cards randomly. I checked out the market. Later, I decided to buy cards randomly. If you are new and you want to get started, I made a video about how to buy cards and grow your city.

This is what I got in the first 10 cards. Here my favorite cards are Police Station, Airport, Circus, and Shopping Mall. I also got 3 Basic Home cards and 3 Luxury Home cards. I already have the population, so I don't need those cards. I don't think about selling Basic Home and Luxury Home cards right now. Maybe I will think about that later.

I love what I got the second time. I bought 10 cards again. This time I have Zoo, Gym, Police Station, Factory, Bank, Garbage Dump, and Basic Home cards. Factory, Bank, and Zoo cards will generate more SIM income. That's awesome!

I need to reduce the crime rate, otherwise, there might be a robbery in my city. Out of 20 random cards, I have 3 Police Station cards, and that will have a good impact on my city.

It is exciting to play games on the blockchain. Hope blockchain-based games will be more popular in the future since we see the gaming industry is growing rapidly.

In this post, I'm sharing my experience and excitement about games. One year ago, I did not think I would make posts and videos about games. It is very exciting to see what is happening on Blockchain.

Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section. Thank you so much for reading this post.

I’m just started and bought cards from the market only. Still wondering if I should buy random cards...

There is no control over which card you will get when you buy cards randomly. You can only choose whether you want to buy 1st edition cards or 2nd edition cards. Sometimes you will get cards that's total Hive value less than what you spend. If you are looking for any specific card, you can buy them from the market. Population cards are very cheap in the market.

Dear @rezonanulvibes, the card buy method is rather risky business, because most of times the value of cards you get are very much lower than what you take. Anyway i am doing my 4th town from the scratch and this is my situation, right now i never bought any random card... https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@intellihandling/i-ve-got-the-perfect-town

Yes, there is a risk that you will get cards that have low value. On the other hand, you might get valuable cards while buying random cards.

To avoid the risk, it is better to buy from the market. I think right now cards that generate SIM are overpriced. When the card price decreases, I'll buy some cards from the market.

So, you bought 1st Edition cards? Someone told me to buy second edition random cards. And most of the end up getting wind turbine or Public restroom.

You are lucky enough.

What are the hive value mentioned at the end of the list?

Usually, you are supposed to get more cards with SIM income in the 2nd edition. Again, if you are lucky, you can get some good cards. Sometimes I get terrible cards. lol....

If I sell the cards, I might get HIVE close to that. Again that's an estimation. 5% would be the trading fee.

I talk about dCity and share my opinions because I got into it. I don't talk much about other games because I don't have much experience with them. Glad to know you found my video useful.

Wish you all the best, @amr008.sports!
