SPI-RABONA Team Challenge - dublup.io market is comming!
Hello SPI members, LEO community and RABONA fans,
another season has ended and we had two serious attempts by SPI Sharks and Dynamo Dresden to rise to league 2. Unfortunately, both missed, came in second and will play another season in League 3. Rising to league 1 may be the most difficult part in our little challenge. This may be due to the fact that players are witnessing the huge spread between RBN and Peg.HIVE in the internal market and may find an easy (trading) way to earn the 100 HIVE that are needed to win. At the time of writing these lines, this spread is almost 50% with buying and selling dynamics seem to follow a clear pattern.

In terms of earning RBN, again SPI Sharks clearly has the lead, followed by spicity, Dynamo Dresden and Eddies Eagels. SPI LEO Lions still accumulate dept by heavily investing in new players.
Overall Winner is: Least number of seasons to break-even investment (100 HIVE) after reaching League 1.
So the first competition for the teams is to reach League 2 and League 1 with a minimal number of seasons.

I have really great news for the gamification of this contest. A few days ago a new market-making service started on https://dublup.io/. @city-of-dresden has sponsored a market for this contest! At the time of writing these lines, the market is under review. Everybody who has 10 Pal can bet on its favorite team! The contest is about who will reach League 1 first (in the least number of seasons). hope to share the link in an update.

Statistically, SPI LEO Lions FC is still the most succesful team having a winning ration of 60%. During its second season, it also stepped up in terms of its number af fans. However, for this metric SPI sharks are still leading. spicity and Eddie Eagles continued to invest in diverse infrastructure buildings, whereas the other teams are focusing on Stadium and Catering and Shops. Dynamo Dresden has the biggest stadium (Level 8) and a Level 5 Training center.

The competition is fierce as we see it also in the local derbies. The surprise is coming from Australia where the local team is leading in front of the ones from the old continent. The competition will take at least 5 more season as teams need to consolidate their play and finances.
