SkateHive / Proof of Brain Experiment - What I Learned About PoB!

Little Background First
My first PoB post was 4 months ago, which was basically just an introduction of myself to the Proof of Brain community. It did amazingly well, with the total post value being 3044 POB, which put me on the rich list almost immediately!
Despite this, I found that I wasn't finding much to post about on POB, since I felt I wanted to pot any of my skate content in SkateHive, to make sure they were getting the traffic, and I was supporting my favourite community. As it was I already was so busy I wasn't posting as often as I wanted, so posting to 2 different platforms seemed overwhelming to me. But then I noticed recently that @knowhow92's SkateHive posts were showing up on Proof of Brain, and they said they were posted in SkateHive!
The Experiment
So while we were having the most recent community meeting on discord, I decided to make 2 posts with a couple short clips I recently posted to YouTube's Shorts, which is similar to Instagram Reels and TikTok videos. I thought it might get me a lot of views on YT, but so far it has not.
So one post I posted on proofofbrain.io with the SkateHive tag, and the other on SkateHive with the proofofbrain tag. Admittedly they were not the mot high effort posts because I was rushing while doing these posts during the meeting, but for the sake of the experiment they are both fairly similar. That being said, I don't believe the reward differences is due to how I posted them, so I will not be including rewards as part of the experiment, just the manner in which they appear on Hive.
What I learned
What I realized was that I no longer need to split my efforts between 2 sites, when I can simply include the proofofbrain tag on my SkateHive posts. This saves me a lot of effort, and allows me to earn both Hive and POB on all of my posts! This also works for curating, as any post I like that has a POB tag on it, likes both the POB post, and the Hive post. Which seeing as I have fairly high HivePower and POB power, is dishing out some great rewards, and giving me great returns! It also allows me to use the Peakd platform, while still being a part of both communities.

Thoughts on POB
Personally I think it was a genius idea to implement a token using Bitcoins tokenomics, while also making it fully PoB. It basically makes it Bitcoin's cousin, who happens to run a social media site rather than a bank.
I've also feet that the name itself has influenced a lot of people's post subjects in a good way, making it very clear that you should be putting some brain power into every post. This has lead to some really amazing posts, and great initiatives!
Drama!
I personally have not dug too deeply into the drama, so I do not know all the details! That being said, my general impression is that there will always be people upset with the choices you make, even when your intentions are good. That is not to say that sometimes people are upset for genuine reasons.
In either case however, I think the best thing is for everyone to put their ego's aside, and work together to find a middle ground on issues. No one gets everything right, and we can all grow and change from our mistakes, but not if we dismiss each other, and fail to give the other person the chance to change! Honestly just look at any of the speeches Daryl Davis has given. If he can do what he does, surely we can work together for the betterment of Hive, even if we don't all agree with each other along the way!

I definitely love the idea of PoB. Bitcoin tokenomics as a layer 2 HIVE token... it could become the “store of value” HIVE token while HIVE is the currency

Great post. ProofofBrain has renewed my optimism in the original idea of crypto blogging. I especially like how it’s linked to Bitcoin. I missed out on Bitcoin so I’m staking as much POB as possible before it reaches $100,000 … POB to the moon. 🧠 🚀 🌙 ….
Yeah I had often thought we needed a deflationary coin, paired with Hive’s inflation.
Now that I learned what I learned, I will definitely be staking as much pob as possible.
Thanks for telling us about your experience in the early stage of being introduced to the community. I think the tag is what makes it easy for ones post to spreed across so many places. The idea of using tag is a good one from the hive community.
