Stroking The Ego "The Virus"

Manchester United sold Paul Pogba and re bought him back for a staggering €105 million (£89.3 million) which is the highest paid for a player by an English club. He has looked disinterested for some time now and is looking like a seriously bad error of judgement by whoever agreed to buy him.

He said that the clubs ambition doesn't match his own and possibly it is time to part ways. He was bought when Jose Mourinho was the club manager yet according to one of Jose's close friends Jose didn't want him. This was not his deal and had nothing to do with it.

The club bought him for commercial interests saying that they would recoup the money in 6 months. Jose has been on record saying that the team played better without the "virus". Pogba has been nothing ,but a disruptive influence ever since he walked through the doors at the club.

I kind of feel sorry for Mourinho in a way as their biggest signing wasn't his and he just created havoc with his big mouth. Mourinho went as far as saying if we play him then possibly we could off load him at some point.

The problem when you have a player with an attitude is the mood he brings to the dressing room. I just wish the managers would have the courage to stand up and be honest right from the get go instead of trying to play nice. Mourinho of all people had the influence to outright refuse to play him or walk.

Mourinho's job was in trouble as soon as they went over his head and purchased Pogba.
There are two angles in play here right now with Pogba. The first one is he doesn't really want to go and is forcing United to extend his contract. The second one is he really wants to go giving his agent another percentage fee in the transfer market. I would say it is the latter one myself.

United have stumbled through the last 5 years signing players haphazardly creating no identity in a set style of play. What this has done is created a team that isn't really a team, but a hodgepodge of sorts looking like a mix and match of furniture from granny's house.

Some strong words have been said by Pogba's agent Raiola "a club out of touch with reality" who would "ruin Maradona, Pele and Maldini".That is fairly harsh but obviously speaking some truth at the same time if we are all being honest.

Clearly Mourinhio and Pogba didn't get on especially now we know he wasn't Mourinho's choice from the start. He clearly doesn't rate him saying that he is worthless on the field. He intentionally played him against Valencia hoping to spark some interest as in his words 'And if there's a truckload of pounds out there... '

Manchester United fans are oblivious to what is happening to their club right now as they are looking for any positives. I am glad this story has finally come out as this guy is over rated, over paid and needs to be dumped on some other unfortunate team.God knows how much his value has dropped now which Pogba wont like as that helps boost his ego.

I think nine out of ten times when a player starts bashing on their club the problem is with the player and not the club. The U of M basketball team has been doing pretty horrible after a great start to the season and the coach made a statement the other night about how these are the times that he really keeps track of what the athletes are doing and saying. Are they putting in the extra work or pointing the finger.

Players show their true character when there are testing times and many fail miserably.

I think it is just nuts how much money is involved in all of this. wow. When I pretended to be a football fan 10 years ago I chose to support United but only because my friend was a Chelsea fan and I wanted to egg him on. Once he moved away I kind of fell out with the sport. To give you an idea of how long ago this was Giggs, Scholes, and Rooney all played for United at that time.

Lol. I am like that as well. Nothing more fun to rib someone when you don't really care either way. They were a good team all those years ago, but it is totally different today and is fun to watch them unravel.
