Weights, Cyclone and Health: Update + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

So, what do you know, the cyclone gave Mumbai a miss. Not only did it divert but it fizzled out from a 150 kmph wind speed to nothing over a few hours of landfall. That wasn’t expected, but then with God, everything is! 😊

Mumbai breathed relaxed as we had not seen a cyclone in 129 years. You get that, right? Not me, nor my grand-parents or my great-grand-parents witnessed a hurricane in Mumbai. So, it would have been one unknown event in life. Thankfully, it has passed us.

So, in that happy mood, here is my exercise update.

Yesterday my daughter went solo where I joined her for the warmup. She took it forward and completed her regime. The champion that she is

As far as today morning was concerned, I went with chest and back with my quadruplet form. Here are my quadruplets:

  1. 1-set pushups
  2. 1-set of weights for chest
  3. 1-set of weights for back
  4. 1-set of triceps

I did a total of five sets and added one set of biceps and reverse pushups. One more fulfilling day!

So, that’s it from me for today. I will see you all tomorrow. Namaste!

And I wish you all a lovely day!

Did You Know?

George Hood of the US holds the record for abdominal planks. The record stands at 10 hours 10 minutes. The previous record-holder was Mao Weidong of China, who held the plank position for 8 hours and 1 minute.

Phew, even the previous record-holder wasn’t bad, in my opinion. My longest plank so far has been for a two-and-a-half-minute. That’s tiny in comparison to the record holders.

What was your best abdominal planks time?

Let me know in the comments.😊
