Not sure if this is a new trend or im just recently knowing about them.
There is also an upcoming virtual run challenge in our country. 5, 15 and 25km.

Yeah, it got quite popular here during the pandemic. Many people like, or in some cases even need, to have an end goal to find motivation for their training. And without in person races, virtual races were the next best thing. I never really got into it though and it will be my first. It was a normal race I actually registered for last year, it first got deferred to this year, and finally converted to virtual. I just noticed it a few days ago. So, why not?
Thanks! I really have no pressure anyways, it will be part of my regular training. I'll just try and find a nice weather day next week and run for fun!
