Tisa trail with Puma

On many occasions, you don't need to go far to have a thoroughly enjoyable run.

It was a lovely sunny day with temperatures notably higher than the days before.

For a midday doggy walk, Puma led me on a hike and run up to the old yew tree about the village. There is a marked path that leads the visitors from the center of the village on a very steep trail all the way to the old Tisa and then continues around the hill and back.

Puma on a steep ascent. She took her time to read the signatures of the wildlife along the path.

At the upper part of the climb trees and their remnants lie all around. Partly because of nature and partly by the human hand.

On the final approach to Tisa there is still some snow on the path.

Mount Raduha is omnipresent.

This magnificent tree is estimated to be between 700 and 900 years old.

There is another story in making about the old farm near the Tisa tree. Let's leave it for another occasion.

It was a lovely hike and run with Puma. We returned to the village by the path which led us around the hill and by the creek.

The climb to Tisa is just over 600 meters long yet it includes 180 meters of ascent. We did it in 15 minutes at a pace of a brisk hike.

On the map, the zig-zagging climb is extremely well seen.
