A partially sunny and windy day. Just perfect for a trial run.

The goal was to go out for an hour and a half and get some climbs. The pace wasn't important. Enjoy the run was the motto.

The first part was on the left ridge all the way to the village Rašica. Many climbs and downhill sections, several hikers and doggy walkers, interesting details like these eyes in the tree roots.

After reaching the highest point of the run, at 540 meters above sea level, and after 7.8 kilometers it was all downhill. I tried for a tempo run and aimed to get back home in under 1:30 hours with 13 kilometers of run. Did I succeed?

The green line is pace while the cyan area is altitude. You can notice the difference in pace.

It was great to stretch the legs a bit. It felt really good although in the last kilometer my weak right knee started to voice its concern. I ignored it and pushed on.

In the meantime, spring is back. The sour cherry tree under our kitchen windows is in full bloom.

Looks steep! How were your legs after this?

No problem going up. Going down was a bit quicker :)

My knees were a bit stiff walking down the stairs in the afternoon. U should start doing some stretching and strengthening exercises for the joints.
