Fitness log #13 - Last Week's Round Up

Last week was super busy, and I didn't get much time to post. So thought I would just do a roundup post instead with some overall updates and stats.

Log - Monday 18 May to Sunday 25 May

Steps

Hit my 5k step goal every week. struggled with Garmin goals but just did what I could.

  • 5k step goal: 7/7 days

  • Garmin step goal: 1/7 days

Workouts:

  • 2/3 workouts for the week:

  • Weekly Workout Minutes: 148

1 strength session and 1 run.

It was a longer run than anticipated, and I didn't regret my choices. So I think we are getting better. Also managed to get some bronze Strava PR goals.

There are so many ways to measure health and fitness. parkrun tends to be my benchmark, but I saw a video about what a man of 40 should be able to do for various exercises. I'm a lot older than that, but can still do some of them. I think it has to be fun too.

Keep up the good work.

Definitely, with life being so busy, I'm just trying to keep it simple in achievable goals. Steps are easy, I can do them with the kids and do all sorts of things to achieve them. I'm always motivated by my stats, but I must filter down from work stuff. But I like to see improvements, even if they are tiny increments! !PIZZA !Hbit
