I just finished a 16.113km running that lasted about 1hh:23mm:19ss !

Breezy out there today! 40mph gusts đź’¨
I had been putting this run off all day because of the weather. I was waiting for the wind to “settle down” but by 5pm it was still blowing strong so I put on my big girl pants & set off. I’ve set a target of a minimum of 25 miles per week & I was about 6.5 miles off the mark.
It wasn’t too horrendous once out. There was the odd occasion where I felt like I wasn’t moving at all. I was absolutely nowhere near zone 2. I also underestimated the length of the route that I took. I predicted 8-9 miles & it was actually 10. Fortunately, despite a tough start, after 3 miles I had warmed up & felt alright so I was quite glad to have a bit of extra distance in the bag. 28.7 miles for the week 💪
