Morning Ride With Friends

I just finished a 43.99km cycling that lasted about 2hh:49mm:37ss !

This mornings ride turned out to be a lot different than what I was expecting.

We jumped on the motorway early this morning(by car) and drove south of Auckland to find a bike path that stretches along the Waikato River, near Hamilton. The path was great for the first 15km or so, but as we approached Hamilton, the path narrowed, was then paved with some crappy pavers and was a little dangerous for a road bike. I think I still would have been a little worried on my mountain bike.

I was a nice ride though. Everyone in the group had put in a good week of training so I think everyone was cool taking it a little easy for the ride.

Stay Strong Everyone!

You have uploaded 196 cycling activities, and 20 of them have been of similar distances (within 10 percent)!
Here are your 5-fastest cycling activities of a similar distance:

Over these 20 similar activities, you have travelled approximately 875.07 kms at an average pace of roughly 2:33 min/km!
Your latest run was at a pace of approximately 3.856min/km!
Looks like you went a bit slower this time! Remember that it's important to take some rest days, and do some rehab / prehab / strength and conditioning training too! If you weren't intending to go slower, take a moment to listen to your body, and see if you need something. Check in with yourself!

It's strange to see people together like that these days. I know NZ had done well at controlling the virus. Stay well and enjoy your rides.

Actually, you're right. A little insensitive of me to post a picture like that as this point in time. Gatherings need to be under 10 people currently in NZ.

If you are obeying the guidelines then nobody can complain. They vary a lot around the world, which spreads confusion.
