127 k's Of Christmas
I just finished a 127.324km cycling that lasted about 5hh:19mm:32ss !
Not a Christmas Miracle just a long bike ride for Christmas morning.
Still pushing towards Ironman in March. I usually do a nice run or ride on Christmas morning. Not sure why, but its kinda my tradition and it sets me up for a nice day, no matter what I have on for the day.
There is actually not much booked for Christmas day this year. I'll just be spending it with my favorite girl @run.kirsty.run as we do have an early dinner booked. Before we head to dinner though, we planned on a 5 hour ride as part of our training for Ironman. Kirsty has actually had one or two extra long rides than what I have had, so this was going to be one of the longest rides I would have done for a while.
It was a great morning and even though it was windy out, it wasn't too warm so the ride went well. I felt good for pretty much the entire ride and was even able to work hard into the head wind, even after four or more hours of riding.
I have a few days off before I head back to work so this might be one of many long training sessions before I head back to work.

That's an epic ride. Were the roads quiet? I've done a run and want to get some more in this year. It's been a pretty good one for running and I hope we can all do more events next year.
