Morning Run - Splash
I just finished a 7.66km running that lasted about 0hh:43mm:52ss !
After my weekend exertions I needed a bit of a rest, so I gave it a couple of days for my legs to recover. Last night it rained heavily, so I was hoping it would be better this morning. Fortunately it had stopped and I just had to dodge the puddles.
I set off with the intention of just jogging to Stotfold and back to see how it felt. When I got there I was feeling okay and so decided to do a full loop back through Fairfield. I do not tend to run the loop in this direction very often, just out of habit. There is a long climb up to Fairfield.
You have to cross under the bypass, but there I found the underpass flooded to ankle deep. For the first time in a while I had to shuffle along the railing to cross the pool. That obviously affected my average pace, but I was not worried about that. Strava does not count stationary time anyway.
Once over the hill it was just a cruise back home. The legs are not feeling too bad.
Run free and stay well.

.hahahhah! Well you could also practice swimming as if you were preparing a triathlon
It was a bit of a water obstacle. Shuffling on the railing works some different muscles.
Perfect then!

.I have had enough of flooding for a year, but we could definitely use some of that rain. They are saying that we are kind of in a mini drought I think. We are finally supposed to get some storms this weekend. Figures, since I have a ton of things I want to get done!
It's been so mixed here. Looking cool and damp for the next few days.
Nothing can stop a consistent Runner.
