Breaking the routine
I just finished a 11.115km running that lasted about 0hh:51mm:25ss !
Day 70th since the official Lockdown at Spain. 70 days on which we had to adapt ourselves to the new conditions, working from home and teaching the children indoors.
Seems that the situation is much better now and so the government is allowing us to go outdoors more often not only to practice some sport but also for walking so, my city, Barcelona, is releasing the lockdown day after day.
However, we are still concerned for the eventual rise of the virus so, the majority of us are taking the new conditions in a careful manner.
We keep staying indoors but I don't lose any opportunity of going for a walk or a run, we have to break the tedious routine of these days.
This time I went for running without a plan. Well, the only plan I had is to do it longer but not at any specific pace.
I started soft and, as usual, I increased naturally the pace as my legs, lungs and heart get warmer.
At the end, it has been 11 km in about 51 minutes, which is not bad at all, mostly running within the aerobic zone.
One week more increasing slightly the training load, gaining strength in a consistent manner.

I've been asking different people in different areas if they know many people have gotten the virus.
I know 3 people who have gotten it.
I have closer cases, one was my father in law
Hopefully he made it through and got better. A lot of people have been saying this whole thing is fake and how they don't know anyone who got it....etc.
