Steps and stairs
I just finished a 6.126km running that lasted about 0hh:56mm:27ss !
Today I received what it was supposed to be a Mask for runners.
It is really a good quality mask, it fits perfectly my face and the best of all, it is very comfortable, actually it is almost like not wearing it.
Today I had a short running session in terms of length but very intense in term of effort.
It consisted on a 2.5 km warm-up jog followed by a complete workout of intervals on a very long stair.
Skippings, jumping on one leg and the other and then some fast runs over the stair...a very demanding session focused on force developing, enhancing proprioception , ankles reactivity and running technique.
Then a complete but soft stretching exercise, hydration and recovery.
By the way, about the mask, I took it off as soon as my heart has exceeded 140 beats LoL...

.Am quite reluctant to try something like this cause i feel it'll have adverse effects on my knees in the long term. what do you think?
Maybe.
Perhaps the best would be to reinforce your quadriceps by doing specific exercises as squats for instance.
