Sports card hobby boxes are a rip off right now!
Prices are going crazy. Panini releases court Kings every year. This box is usually $90-$100. This year they are selling for almost $300. I have seen this in all sports but it seems basketball is leading the way.
I think these cards look great and luckily I have a friend who owns a card shop and usually sells me one close to cost to try and suck me into buying more. I got mine for $200.
Unfortunalty this is the last box of cards I’ll be buying for a bit because I need to get some cards graded and this is expensive. I’m still working towards opening a shop but all the dealers I’ve talked to are closed to new business unless you are willing to spend 50k a month right now.
These are some cool looking cards.
On card autos are always a big hit. Let’s hope coby white has a big season next year.
The zion came damaged on the back. I’ll be sending it back to the manufacturer to get a refund hopefully. Cards have to be perfect or else the resell value tumbles.
Have a good one everyone. Hope you liked seeing the hits from the box.
I personally would not see myself spending that much money on them but I have to admit that they look pretty neat.
Yeah. Luckily that zion sells for about $400. The Coby will sell for about $120. I'll probably end up making a little money. Got lucky for sure. It's not smart to buy boxes thinking you are going to make money though.
I am feeling the sports card fever the past couple of days. Crazy how expensive they were! At least the cards are definitely beautiful! I need some basketball cards I have like none lol
