Splinterlands - Excitement to open 80 loot chests for the first time

As I mentioned in my yesterday's article, I was fortunate to reach the Champion III league for the very first time this season. I shared my happiness in the article I wrote yesterday along with other details as to how my investment is paying me now. Today the season ended and I was very excited to open 80 loot chests. To be honest, even though I did not have any big expectations from the loot chests while opening every single card, there was a little bit of excitement and curiosity in my mind.

Just to explain about the rewards, it was not very great as usual but I did receive a legendary card from the quest rewards. Looks like it is a new card to my collection and I'm not very familiar with that card. Some DEC rewards were pretty decent and I also received an epic card as a reward from the loot chests.

Most of the cards were the usual ones that I regularly get from the daily quest rewards and it was not very exciting. I have to say that the DEC rewards were pretty decent because one loot chest gave me 1208 DEC in just one shot. I did not expect that to happen. There was also an essence orb in the rewards. I haven't opened it yet but I feel it is good to get an orb as a reward.

I already have a good deck with a decent level of cards. Most of these cards are not going to be a good one for my collection instead I might place them in the market for selling. But I also think that as many people got these reward cards today from the season end rewards, most of these would come naturally to the market and that has a high possibility to increase the supply than a proper demand. My instincts say that people purchasing cards from the market now can be less in number compared to people who would be dumping their cards in the market after they got it from the season end rewards.

I'm going to wait for some more days to observe the price of the cards and then place my order in the market. I would then have no other option than placing the cards in the market even for a low price if the price is not favorable because there is too much supply.
