Toby Alderweireld remains to play in Tottenham.
There is new information that the Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld has extended the contract with the club.
Tottenham’s new contract with the Belgian player will be calculated until 2023, and although it was previously reported that the Toby Alderweireld would leave the English club as a free agent, the defender apparently changed his mind and decided to stay in Tottenham.
This season, the Toby Alderweireld played 16 matches in the Premier League for Tottenham, in which the player was able to make two assists. However, in four meetings of the Champions League, Alderweireld earned only one yellow card, and in my opinion, this is not a big deal, since the Toby Alderweireld is a defense player and such moments are quite possible. I wish the Toby Alderweireld a great game in defending Tottenham to the delight of all club fans.
