Hello guys. Who is excited that football actions are back? Quite a number of leagues have resumed football actions for about two weeks now. But, today the Premier League has resumed actions.

After about a hundred days of no premier league football due to the coronavirus pandemic the English football kicked off for the first time with Aston Villa hosting Sheffield United and there are no goals yet as at the time of writing this post (64').

It is expected that the season would end on 26th of July and all the matches will be played within 40 days. It's going to be hectic for the players because they barely have breaks between matches. There is just about 3 days break in between games.

One of the preventive measure against the Coronavirus is that all the matches will be played behind closed doors - no fans will be in attendance. No cheering, no wooing, no drums and claps. The football matches are really going to have a low tempo as opposed to what we used to know the Premier League for.

Also, a minute's silence is going to be observed during the first matches to remember all the people that lost their lives as a result of the deadly coronavirus.

In a bid to support the BLACK LIVES MATTER protests that sparked a lot of reactions and protests worldwide all players would write Black Lives Matter on their jersey instead of their names.

Liverpool could win the league if Manchester City lose to Arsenal today as they are leading with 25 points at the top of the Premier League table. Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Norwich City are in the 18th, 19th and 20th positions respectively and they are battling with relegation.

Are you excited just as I am?
